Soup Dumplings in Japanese Curry Sauce

Soup Dumplings cooked in Japanese Curry Sauce - a cozy, flavorful dish combining juicy pork dumplings with rich, savory and creamy curry base. It is an easy and satisfying fusion meal you can make in under 15 minutes that is perfect for weeknight dinner!

  • In a cooking pot, heat 1 tbsp of cooking oil over medium high heat. Add garlic, white parts of green onion, and onion. Sauté until soft and fragrant.
  • Pour in water or broth, then bring it to a simmer.
  • Add soy sauce and 1 block of Japanese curry roux. Mix until dissolved. Simmer gently for 1-2 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Add frozen soup dumplings to the curry sauce. Cover the pot with a lid and cook for about 12 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
  • Remove the lid and turn off the heat.
  • Garnish with green parts of green onion and black sesame seeds. Serve hot immediately and enjoy!
