Easy Air Fryer Crab Rangoon Recipe (Video)

This Easy Air Fryer Crab Rangoon Recipe is a healthier, and mess-free version of a classic Chinese takeout dish that you can make in no time. Each bite is creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside!

Ingredients
 

  • 20-24 wonton wrappers
  • 6-8 oz cream cheese , (add more cream cheese if you want creamier crab rangoon)
  • 8 oz imitation crab or crab meat, chopped
  • 2 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper , to taste
  • cooking spray
  • sweet chili sauce, for dippping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  • In a large bowl, combine crab, cream cheese, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together until smooth and well combined.
  • To assemble crab rangoon, place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface.
  • Add a spoonful of crab rangoon filling into the center of the wonton wrapper. Brush or dap the edges of the wrapper with some water. Bring the two corners of the wrapper together. Then bring all four corners together to form a pouch shape. Press tight to seal the edges.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, then place the crab rangoon in single layer into the air fryer basket. Spray all sides of crab rangoon generously with more cooking spray.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy (different air fryer may have different temperature and cooking time).
  • Serve air fryer crab rangoon immediately with a side of sweet chili sauce.
