Top Tips for Success
- Cook Noodles and Wontons Separately. The broth, noodles, and wontons have different cooking times, so it is recommended to cook them separately. The noodles and wontons also have a lot of starch, so it is better to not mix it with the broth.
- Add more seasonings to the broth for extra flavors. You can add garlic, ginger, shiitake mushroom, or any aromatics you like to add more flavor to the soup.
- Customize toppings. I like to make wonton soup simple with minimal ingredients. If you like the soup on the spicier side, feel free to add chili oil or chili flakes. If you like it on the saltier side, add more soy sauce and adjust seasonings to your liking.
