Best Tuna Poke Recipe with Wonton Cups

Make Wonton Cups

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Spray the muffin tin with cooking spray, then press the wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. For extra crispiness, spray more cooking spray inside each wonton cup.
  • Bake the wonton wrapper in the oven for 7-8 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Make Tuna Poke

  • Cook rice according to package instruction. Set aside.
  • Dice sushi-grade tuna into small cubes.
  • In a bowl, combine diced tuna with soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined. Cover and let it marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.

Assemble

  • Add a spoonful of rice into each wonton cup.
  • Add a spoonful of tuna poke on top of the rice.
  • Garnish with seaweed and sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
