In Chinese culture, Year of the snake represents transformation, adaptability, and renewal. Just as the snake sheds its skin for renewal, I transformed traditional Braised Beed Noodles into a delicious one pot braised beef noodle dumpling soup by simply adding water, bok choy, and dumplings. This Cantonese-inspired dish traditionally takes at least 4 hours to make. How to Make One Pot Braised Noodle Soup
Here is an easy step-by-step instruction on how to make a one pot braised noodle soup with dumplings.
Step 1: In a small cooking pot, add 5 cups of water and the sauce packet. Cook over medium-high heat until the sauce has melted. Bring the broth to a boil.
Step 2: Add noodles and dumplings to the broth. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Add a handful of bok choy to the pot.
Step 4: Cover and cook for another minute until vegetables are tender and dumplings float to the top.
Serve
Garnish with green onions and drizzle some chili oil on top. Serve hot and enjoy!
