Description

Sacha sauce paired with tender beef and vegetables, this dish comes together in a quick and delicious stir fry that is perfect for weeknight dinners!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (flank steak, sirloin, or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp cooking wine
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil or vegetable oil
  • 4 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Sha Cha sauce, add more if needed
  • 5 scallions, chop into 2 inch length
  • 5 dried chili
  • Neutral oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combined sliced beef with cooking wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the beef evenly and let the beef marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a wok or cooking pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for a few minutes until the beef is browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
  3. In the same pan, add another 2 tbsp of oil. Add garlic and sa cha sauce and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked beef back to the pan. Then add chopped scallions and dried chili. Stir-fry for a few more minutes until the scallions become soft. Taste and add more sa cha sauce if desired.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with rice or noodles.
