INGREDIENTS:
- Rice
- Thinly sliced beef
- Onion
- Corn
- Unsalted Butter
- Green Onion
- Garlic
- Black Pepper
- Honey
- Soy Sauce
- Mirin
- Oyster Sauce
HOW TO MAKE BEEF PEPPER RICE?
Make the Sauce
In a small pan, add minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, mirin, and honey. Mix well and simmer until the sauce slightly thickens. Turn off the heat and set it aside .
Sauté the Onion
Prepare a sizzling hot plate or cast-iron pan. Heat 1 tbsp of oil over medium heat and add sliced onion. Sauté until onions are soft and fragrant. Move the onion to the center of the pan.
Add Rice and Beef Slices
Place a bowl of cooked rice on top of the onion. Arrange the sliced beef around the rice, making sure it’s in direct contact with the hot surface.
Add Toppings
Add corn, chopped green onion, butter, and freshly ground black pepper on top of the rice.
Pour Sauce and Serve
Drizzle the sauce over the beef and rice. Give it a good mix and enjoy straight from the hot pan.

- 300g thinly sliced beef
- 1 large bowl cooked rice
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup canned corn
- 1.5 tbsp butter (unsalted)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onion, chopped
Sauce
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp honey
