Description
This one pot meal combines tender beef, sweet and tangy tomatoes, and chewy noodles simmered in a rich and savory broth. Perfect quick and hearty meal!

- 1 serving noodles of your choice
- 6–7 thinly sliced beef (or shabu meat)
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushroom
- 1/4 onion, sliced
- 3 medium sized tomatoes, diced
- 2 cups beef stock
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 2 scallions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set it aside.
- In a pot, heat 1 tbsp of oil over medium heat. Add garlic, sliced onion, and mushroom. Sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add diced tomatoes to the pot and cook until softened.
- Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, tomato paste, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Mix until well combined. Bring the broth to a boil.
- Add beef slices and continue cooking, while skimming off the foam on top. Taste and add more salt and seasoning if needed.
- Add cooked noodles back into the pot. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
