Description
Crispy wonton wrappers filled with a creamy and cheesy filling and baked to golden perfection. These Jalapeño Wonton Cups make the perfect bite-sized appetizers!

- 12 wonton wrappers (24 if you prefer thicker crust)
- cooking spray
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup bacon bits
- 3 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Spray muffin tin generously with cooking spray.
- Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. For extra crispiness, spray and brush the inside of the wonton cup with more cooking spray.
- Bake the wonton wrapper cup for 7-8 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and set it aside.
- To make the filling, combine cream cheese, bacon bits, jalapenos, green onions, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper in a big bowl. Mix until well combined. *Reserve some bacon bits, jalapenos and green onions for the toppings.
- Spoon the filling evenly into each pre-baked wonton cups. Then sprinkle with reserved cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and jalapenos.
- Bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese filling is warm and melted.
- Remove the wonton cups from the oven. Serve hot and enjoy!
