Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the bok choy by cutting it in half.
Step 2: Bring a pot of water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Add bok choy and blanch for 1-2 minutes. Drain and set it aside.
Step 3: In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4: Add soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Mix and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Step 5: Arrange the blanched boy choy on a serving plate.
Step 6: Pour the garlic ginger sauce over the bok choy. Serve hot immediately.
