- 2 lb bok choy, cut into half
- salt
- 6 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp ginger, minced
- 3 tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- cooking oil
Instructions
- Wash and cut bok choy into half.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Add bok choy and blanch for 1-2 minutes. Drain and set it aside.
- In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of cooking oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Mix and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Arrange the blanched boy choy on a serving plate. Pour the garlic ginger sauce over the bok choy. Serve hot immediately.
